I was born in New England and moved west when I was about 12 with my family to the wide open spaces and relaxed atmosphere of the west, first Missouri, Oklahoma and then Wyoming . I joined the US Army at 17 and became a parachute rigger packing parachutes and airborne, jumping out of helicopters and various planes and was stationed at Fort Bragg, NC . After the military and starting a family I moved back to the west to Wright, Wyoming where my folks still were.  I spent the next 8 years working at a coal mine and started out as a laborer and learned skills and trades to be a certified welder and millwright.  I drove all kinds of heavy equipment and worked like the dickens.  All the heavy lifting and physical activities took their toll and I became disabled and began dropping things.  Hence began the need to change careers.  I went to college at age 30 with two small children and studied purchasing and business, which was quite a change for an outdoor girl. In 1995 my family moved to Florida to be with aging parents and so my transfer to “the ways of the south”. I needed a job really bad so I sold cars, mobile homes and then got several state licenses in finance, real estate, investments and mortgages. Over the past several years I have worked primarily in the mortgage business with Bank of America and Peoples State Bank and then opened my own mortgage company.  I have enjoyed helping people with their finances and getting into new homes however, I missed the out doors.  After much thought and prayer I left the mortgage business to pursue real estate and have enjoyed every minute of it.  Every day is different!  I love to look at property and help folks sell and others buy.  It’s a great life but not for every one.

I work well with investors as my husband and I invest in real estate so I like to “think outside of the box”.
